Prof. Fershtman was the head of the Eitan Berglas School of Economics at Tel Aviv University and the head of the Sapir Center of Economics Research at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Fershtman has been consult to numerous firms in the area of antitrust and regulation and served as a member in the merger committee in Israel.

Prof. Fershtman has published more than 60 papers in economics and management including Econometrica, Rand Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Political Economics, American Economic Review, Economic Journal, European Economic Review, Journal of Economic Theory and Games and Economics Behavior.

     
Other:
 

His main research interests are industrial organization, endogenous formation of market structure, price wars, antitrust and regulation. Prof. Fershtman is a professor of economics at Tel Aviv University where he teaches Industrial Organization and Micro Economics.
