Selected Publications:
  Professor Gorman’s research covers a wide array of topics, including intellectual property (IP) infringement, investment selection and performance evaluation, international asset allocation, dividend capture and signaling, market microstructure design, and fundamental stock valuation.  His research has been published in Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, The Business Lawyer, and The International Business and Economic Research Journal and has been presented at various professional meetings including the Asia-Pacific Finance Conference in Bangkok. 
     
Other:
  At Northwestern, he was awarded the Doctoral Teaching Award for his outstanding instruction, and in 1988 was the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award for his MBA academic performance.   He is a member of the Financial Management Association’s National Honor Society and was recently awarded the Distinguished Faculty Award for his teaching performance at California  Polytechnic.  He also conducts executive seminars in China on the topic of risk management.
