Japan Unit
Introduction of Japan Unit of Sasin Management Consulting (SMC)
For the Kingdom of Thailand, Japan is the most important partner in every
respect. Japanese Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Bangkok boasts its second largest
scale of all overseas JCCs following JCC, Shanghai. Sasin Management
Consulting (SMC) has launched Japan Unit with a full-time Japanese
consultant, in an attempt to support the resolution of every kind of challenges
concerning Japan and Thailand, and to provide various exchange programs. Sasin
has accepted approximately 40 distinguished Japanese
students to date, including management executives and faculties in Japanese universities.
Besides, the number including delegates from leading Japanese companies and Thai
students who obtained degrees in Japan, amounts to more than 300, many of those
are actively engaged in various kinds of fields, bridging
between Japan and Thailand. SMC attempts to maximize the benefit of having
this sort of rich network. We support Japanese companies localizing themselves
in Thailand, and Thai companies seeking business expansion to Japan. We also
provide matching services for both of them. In order to make provision for
aforementioned activities and form a cooperative relationship, we have
formed an alliance with Japan Management Association Consultants (JMAC
Thailand) since January 2009. We also plan, since 2009, to organize
seminars and exchange programs for executives of SME,
in cooperation with Adoc Kobe and Hannan University (Osaka, Japan). We would like
your support and encouragement so that we can make steady progress for your
benefits.

Introduction of the comprehensive alliance between Japan Management Association Consultants (JMAC Thailand) and Sasin Japan Unit
Through the alliance between the top consulting firms in Thailand and Japan,
we expect synergy effects sharing advantages of the two. For instance, Sasin's
strong network will facilitate Thai-business development of JMAC, while JMAC's
strong relationship of mutual trust with Japanese companies will help Sasin
penetrate its brand image across Japanese communities. Furthermore, our
cooperation based on Sasin's strategic advantage and JMAC's operational
advantage makes it possible to provide clients with more comprehensive
consulting services.

Introduction of Sasin Japan Network (SJN)
Japan and Thailand have had a very strong relationship. Especially, we have
seen, over the past 26 years, a very significant role of SASIN, which supported
an intimate academic relationship between the two countries independent of
enterprise and government levels. Envisioning SASIN's roles during the next
quarter century, we have decided to establish a Japanese alumni association of
SASIN. From now on, we develop our own network and cultivate mutual friendship
with alumni members in Japan. As part of our activities, we provide consulting
services for applicants wishing to study in Japan. We also wish to provide
Thai-to-Japan support regarding overseas study, investment, and trade. In
Thailand, many alumni members of SASIN are playing important roles in
governmental, enterprise and academic arenas, where the alumni association is
forming a strong base. We wish our alumni members to give support for closer
cooperation with the alumni association in Thailand and SASIN/CHULALONGKORN
University, which will lead to even more strong relationship between Thailand
and Japan.
