Q14: What are the minimum requirements for EMBA admission? How does the admission process work?
A14: To be eligible, an applicant must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any field of study and a minimum of seven years of work experience after the first degree. When the EMBA application form and all supporting documents are submitted to the Admissions Office, they will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Qualified applicants will then be notified of the dates for the English test and the interviews. Native English-speaking applicants are exempted from the English test. The admission decision will be sent through the mail by the end of March each year.

Q15: I have fifteen years experience in a senior management position but do not have a bachelor's degree. Can I apply to your EMBA program?
A15: Although we value your senior management experience, a bachelor's degree is one of the minimum requirements for EMBA admission.

Q16: What are the application deadlines? When can I apply?
A16: We do not have "rolling admissions" and admit students only once a year. Applications can be submitted from November through mid January every year. We make all of our admission decisions at one time and simultaneously notify all applicants of the results.

Q17: How can I request a new bulletin and necessary application materials?

Q18: Do I need to complete the application before you set up the interview?
A18: Yes. Interviews will be arranged only for those applicants who have submitted the completed application form and all supporting documents to the Admissions Office.

Q19: Do you require interviews for admission?
A19: Yes, the interview is required of all applicants. The formal interview, with Sasin administrators/ EMBA alumni, allows us to explore an applicant's qualifications more deeply. At the same time, the applicant also has an opportunity to learn more about the program of study.

Q20: How important are undergraduate grades?
A20: Grades are taken into consideration in terms of how equipped an applicant is to successfully complete the EMBA program. However, undergraduate transcripts are less important than an individual's career progress and value to his or her organization.

Q21: Is the GMAT required for EMBA admission?
A21: The GMAT is not required of all applicants.

Q22: I already have an MBA. Can I apply to the EMBA program?
A22: Yes, you can apply. We do not exclude candidates who have an MBA or any other graduate degree. You should, however, explain your reasons for desiring a second MBA in your application.

Q23: My spouse and I are both applying and plan to enroll together. Will you evaluate us as a package deal?
A23: We evaluate each individual based on his/her individual credentials. No attempt is made to send the same decision to both spouses. Nonetheless, couples looking at Sasin should not hesitate to let the admission office know if there is a mutual interest in Sasin. We will be happy to provide insights from couples who have gone through the program together.
