Q56: What are the alternatives to on-campus interviews?
A56: The regular interview period is scheduled for two-to-three weeks in February at Sasin. We realize that a visit to Sasin may not be feasible for most applicants located outside Thailand. If you are unable to complete an on-campus interview during the usual time, you should contact the Admissions Office to arrange an interview prior to the start of the regular schedule. However, this kind of interview will be granted only after a completed application has been submitted and reviewed.

Q57: If I am unable to interview, will my application be considered without it?
A57: If you are unable to interview, the Admissions Committee will review your application without the interview. If they find you to be among the most competitive applicants in the pool, they will contact you to arrange an interview. This interview could be with a representative in your area or via telephone or online internet access. But no offer of admission will be made until you have been interviewed.

Q58: How much weight does the interview carry?
A58: The interview, required of all applicants, is an opportunity for you to learn more about Sasin. It gives the Admissions Committee a chance to hear from you in person. Admission decisions are not based on a strict formula. The interview, GMAT, academic accomplishments, work experience, recommendations and application essays all are elements that the Admissions Committee uses in considering you as a candidate.

Q59: How long does the interview last?
A59: The applicants will be interviewed (on the same date) with a member of the Sasin Admissions Committee and an alumnus. Generally, each of these interviews lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Q60: Will you waive my admission interviews since I was admitted last year but chose not to enroll?
A60: No. As the application pool varies from year to year, your application this year must be as competitive as those of others applying this year.
