Management Oral Presentation Workshop
We offer a two-day, 12-hour workshop to corporate clients who want their employees to learn the basics of making an effective persuasive presentation in English. Many participants already have experience doing this in Thai.
Day 1 topics include:
- analyzing the audience to tailor a message to its interests and needs
- using a three-part strategy so the audience will follow and remember the message
- using attractive and appropriate visual aids to support the message
- coaching to make the presentation more dynamic using
- voice
- intonation
- gestures
- posture
- body movement
- eye contact

Day 1 Homework: prepare a 5- minute persuasive presentation for Day 2 |
On Day 2, participants make individual presentations to all the other participants and receive frank and detailed feedback on their delivery style. Each presentation is videotaped so the participant can play it back and receive additional feedback from his/her tutor in a private viewing in an adjacent room. This feedback will include strategy, use of visuals, and level of success in delivering the persuasive message. Participants then have a chance to polish their work before making a second presentation to a smaller group. At this session the audience members will be primed to ask questions which the presenter must handle spontaneously.
Qualification of Participants
Those who will benefit most from this MOP workshop should be fluent speakers of English (the focus is on presentation skills, not language skills) who are required to make oral presentations in the workplace and who are willing to devote one evening in preparing a presentation (homework).
