Senior Executive Program (SEP)

Three-Week Residential Program - August 15 - September 4, 2010
Sasin's Senior Executive Program (SEP) originates from the belief that the success of an enterprise is a well-balanced combination of short-term operational efficiency and long-term competitive advantage. To achieve such success, the organization needs executives who are masters of management's functional disciplines and at the same time able to navigate through turbulent and challenging waters and come out on top.
The Senior Executive Program has been designed to expose executives to the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art knowledge, skills and insights necessary for their firm's and their own success.
Six courses have been chosen, focusing on three areas of management concern: perspective, strategy, and effectiveness.

Who Should Attend
This intensive three-week residential program conducted in English brings distinguished professionals together with highly experienced faculty members of Kellogg, Wharton and Sasin. The goal of SEP is to expose participants to innovative ideas, practical analytical techniques, and tested methodologies that they can adapt and put to work right away in their organizations.

The Senior Executive Program is specially designed for
  • senior executives who have, or soon will have, cross-functional or general management responsibilities
  • executives who are perceived by their companies to have strong potential for top-level management
  • entrepreneurs and owners/managers of internationally-oriented enterprises
  • managers perceived by their organization as having wide-ranging responsibilities
  • senior executives who are at least 35 years of age
Format
Teaching methods for the SEP program are as diverse as the nature of management itself. Formal lectures and presentations certainly are used.  Films, exercises, and plenary reporting may also accompany some sessions. More frequently, SEP participants will be asked to review case studies of actual company situations. Group discussion of these cases is a critical activity, for most management decisions typically are made in groups. Consequently, small discussion groups will meet regularly in the evening during this three-week session.

When and Where
