On May 26, 2012, Sasin held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sasin International Learning Center (SILC) at the construction site in Phang Nga province. The ceremony is also meant as a blessing for the construction work of the SILC. The Sasin International Learning Center is scheduled to open in 2013. Chulalongkorn University administrators, and Sasin faculty and staff attended the ceremony.
