“Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Business” by Tim Greisinger VP, Cognitive Solutions & Apple Partnership from IBM ASEAN.

Tim currently leads an ASEAN GTM team of industry solution consultative sellers to help clients become “cognitive businesses” by leveraging the power of IBM Watson, advanced analytics, IoT, and commerce. He is also responsible for the success of the IBM-Apple partnership in ASEAN and IBM's cognitive solutions engagement in the telecommunications industry across Asia Pacific.


Prior to this role, Tim was also Managing Director of IBM Singapore, Vice President (Smarter Cities) for IBM Asia Pacific and Vice President (Communications Sector) for IBM in 140+ countries in Asia Pacific, Latin American, Middle East, Africa, Russia and Central Europe.

Startup Thailand: The Road Ahead by Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana (June 2016)

Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana (PAC) is currently the Director of Thailand National Innovation Agency (NIA), a Public Organization under Ministry of Science and Technology. The agency is a leader of MOST STARTUP, one of seven Ministry’s flagship clusters. Previously PAC was the CEO of Noviscape Consulting Group. He received his PhD in Economics from Aalborg Universitet, Denmark and Masters of Science in Technology & Innovation Management from University of Sussex, UK.

Adi is an Israeli born, mom of 2, living in Thailand for the past 6 years, EMBA at Sasin 3 years ago. Prior to Taboola, Adi worked as Internet Marketing Manager of the largest hotel chain in Israel, a professional in SEM, SEO, PPC optimization techniques.

Dr. Ian Fenwick is advisor at Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, and also Professor Emeritus and Senior Scholar at Schulich School of Business, Toronto. His previous experience includes: Senior Branding and Marketing Consultant at a Canadian branding and idea generation company) and other marketing consultant roles. Ian has led public and private executive seminars in North America, Asia, and Europe. He holds a BA (Hons) First Class in Economics & Sociology from Durham University, and a Ph.D. from the University of London

Khun Surasit Sachdev (Sit) is currently the Chief of Operations at the Sasin Entrepreneurship Center. After graduating from Sasin MBA program in 2014, he founded his first company ‘Hungry Hub’ which is now one of the leading online restaurant reservation platform in Bangkok. Prior to Sasin, he was as a project manager at Standard Chartered Bank Singapore.


He will be focusing his talk on how to use Excel Financial Model to come up with your company’s valuation.

“How to raise external funding” by Aung Kyaw Moe (July 2015)

Aung has been in the payments industry for more than a decade (mobile payment, eCommerce, mCommerce, etc). His latest venture, 2C2P, has been running for more than 7 years and has raised multiple rounds of external funding totaling over $10mn. 2C2P has been ranked as top 25 world’s top payment startup by CB Insights recently. Aung holds an Executive MBA from Sasin. He was also recognized as one of Asia’s Top 25 Entrepreneurs by Business Week Magazine in 2009.
