Dr. Tiffany has expertise in Strategic Planning; Global Strategy and Management; Cross-Cultural Management; Leadership; and Service-Sector Management.  Dr. Tiffany has taught courses in these subjects at universities in the US, Thailand, China, Denmark, and Switzerland.  He has also consulted in these subject areas to firms throughout the world, including Cisco Systems, Inc.; Bank of America; US Steel Corporation; Siam Cement Group; Deutsche Post World Net (DHL); MinSheng Bank (China); Morgan Stanley; General Motors; The Hartford Insurance Co.; Johnson & Johnson; Kimberly-Clark (Thailand); Microsoft, and numerous others.  He has presented executive programs to audiences in more than 30 countries throughout the world.  He is recognized as a world-wide leading expert in his field and is represented by several of the top speakers’ bureau and booking agents in the US.

THE DECLINE OF AMERICAN STEEL (Oxford University Press, 1988); BUSINESS PLANS FOR DUMMIES, 2nd. Edition (John Wiley & Sons, 2005), co-author with Dr. Steven Peterson.  He has also authored over 25 articles and book reviews in numerous academic journals and publications.


Recipient of Anvil Award, outstanding professor at Wharton; of Lindback Award, outstanding professor at University of Pennsylvania; of Cheit Award, outstanding professor in Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA Program (awarded two times).  In addition, Dr. Tiffany has served as a consultant to several high-level governmental agencies in both the US and abroad.
