Dr. Fujioka has published his research in various journals in English and Japanese such as Kigyou Kaikei (The Accounting), Melco Journal of Management Accounting Research, Keiei Kenkyu (The Business Review), Kigyou Shindan (SMEs Business Diagnosis) and Sasin Journal of Management. He also provided several policy making research papers such as “Strategic Partnership Developments between Thailand and Japan: Sociological Approach” (JICA project), “Post-AEC Strategic Thai-Japanese Partnership in Mekong Region:
New Roles of Thailand” (JICA project). He is a regular contributor to business magazine and news paper such as Nikkei BP, NNA(Kyodo News Group), Asia Pacific Management Journal, Arayz, and so forth.

He has contributed to several academic books in collaboration with international academics such as “Controlling Strategy: Management, Accounting and Performance Measurement (Senryaku wo Control suru, from Chuo Keizai Publication in 2008)”, “Accounting as Social and Institutional Practices (Shakai Soshiki wo Kouchiku suru Kaikei in 2003)”, “Theory of Management (Gendai Kigyou Ron in 2009)”, “Doing Business in Thailand (3rd edition 2013)” and “Mekong Subregion Strategy beyond AEC” (expecting 2015 from Doyukan Publication)


Dr. Fujioka served as Global Center of Excellence Research Fellow of Urban Research Center (2008-9), Research Fellow of Osaka City University (2008-11), Academic Visitor and completed executive teachers program at Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University (2010), Visiting Professor of Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (2012-present), International Academic Visitor of Faculty of Economics of Hannan University (2008, 2010 and 2013) and Visiting Research Fellow of Hiroshima University (2011-present).


He has been involved in various consulting projects and working with various professional and industrial institutions such as METI, JICA, JETRO, HIDA, the National Conference of the Association of Small Business Entrepreneurs, Nikkei BP, Globis, Hyogo Economic Association, Osaka Business Association, Hiroshima Business Association, Himeji Business Association and Japan Management Association Consulting Thailand. At Sasin Japan Center, he organized top executive seminars in collaboration with JMAC Thailand, Nikkei BP and NNA for more than 300 companies. He has also been serving as advisor and mentor for Mandom Thailand, METCO, Shinki Bus, Dairiki Machinery Works, Sekisui Chemical and several listed Japanese companies. He is appointed as the honorary advisor to the department of Fine Arts of Thailand as well as the tourism ambassador of Himeji City.
The department fine arts of Thailand and Harima United (consist of 23 cities including Himeji in Kansai region) signed MOU for tourism and cultural exchange.


He holds a BA in commerce and MBA from Japan and Master of Science in management research (distinction in accounting) and Doctor of Philosophy in management studies from Said Business School, The University of Oxford.
