On August 29^th, a research group consisting of ten professors of leading Japanese universities (including Doshisha University, Nagoya University, and Ritsumeikan University) visited Sasin. Associate Professor Hideki Hayashida, Head of Doshisha University Institute for the Study of Humanities and Social Sciences, expressed the group’s gratitude to Sasin faculty members for the opportunity to introduce Doshisha University and for supporting the research tour. Dr. Adith Cheosakul then gave a presentation on the history of Sasin and Chulalongkorn University, followed by Professor Kua Wongboonsin on the economic status of ASEAN and labor mobility in GMS. Dr. Chaipong Pongpanich wrapped up the visit with a Q&A session about Thai and ASEAN markets. After the visit to Sasin, the group went to the Institute of Asian Studies of Chulalongkorn University.
