Sasin X Corsair to mitigate the plastic waste problem
11 February 2022

Plastic is of course extremely convenient and we use it every day. But there is a massive problem in that the plastic compounds in use today are not biodegradable. It hangs around in the environment for hundreds of years, so it harms both animal and human well-being.
Sasin Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Center (SEC) partners with Corsair Group to mitigate the plastic waste problem through Corsair’s plastic recycling process. Corsair Group converts plastic waste into low-sulphur oil which can be refined into diesel, gasoline, and kerosene or used for creating new plastic products.
This will reduce the volume of microplastics and other pollution in the air and sea which affect the health and well-being of all life. We expect that by working together, Sasin and Corsair can create a small but influential movement to save the world from plastic.
