SEC launches Startup Boot Camp

Sasin Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Center (SEC) has officially kicked off 2 incubation programs, Sprint Accelerator and Sasin Startup Incubator: Impact Ventures (SSI: Impact Ventures), with a 2-day Weekend Boot Camp held at Sasin School of Management on July 7-8, 2018. The program was a dynamic mix of lectures, workshops, and teams pitching their startup ideas. The 26 highly motivated startups that enrolled also received coaching from experienced Sasin alumni who joined the boot camp as mentors.
SPRINT Accelerator is Thailand’s first specialized accelerator for Science and Technology. It was co-founded by SCG Chemicals, Sasin School of Management, Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), Houston Technology Center Asia, and KX Knowledge Exchange Center. It is a 5-months acceleration program focused on business strategy, marketing strategy, financial, IP and pitching skill. It aims to support Thailand innovation ventures especially in deep-tech startup (such as; artificial intelligence & data, augmented/ virtual reality, industrial IoT, robots, new materials & nanotech, biotechnologies) to be able to become new corporate with speed and effectiveness.
Sasin Startup Incubator: Impact Ventures is a 3-month program for any Startups or SMEs with a positive impact on society or environment – a Social Enterprise. SSI: Impact Ventures is in collaboration with SCG Chemicals and sponsored by the National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office (STI) under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
