The Agricultural Research and Development Center in Pathumthani is a focus of learning which produces, researches, and runs experiments on organic farming methodology. It blends technology with local wisdom to devise agricultural techniques that fit today’s urbanized lifestyle.
Under the passionate leadership of “Uncle Sudhep”, the Center builds on an urban farming model established over time through trial and error. Uncle Sudhep introduced us to a number of topics: organic farming nature’s way; indoor farming, and vertical vegetable planting; 24-day soil treatment; and the “papaya tree hack.” Was prepared to get your hands dirty planting salad vegetables which you could took home to later raise and consume.
Joined us on this trip to enjoy fresh air outside the heart of the city and to learn how to farm in limited urban spaces. You can do this at home! Who said city lives must be unhealthy?
