Sasin AI Turbo: From AI Experimentation to Strategic Business Application
27 April 2026

The Sasin AI Turbo concluded with participants developing practical skills in prompt design, AI prototyping, and the strategic application of artificial intelligence to real-world business challenges.
Led by Dr. Pinnaree Tea-Makorn, Sasin AI Strategist and Faculty Member, and Dr. Karl Schmedders, Professor of Finance at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), the program combined hands-on experimentation with strategic perspectives on how AI is reshaping business, leadership, and decision-making.
Throughout the program, participants explored the growing role of Agentic AI—AI systems capable of planning, reasoning, and executing tasks with increasing autonomy. The learning experience encouraged participants to move beyond using AI simply as a productivity tool and consider how it can support innovation, decision-making, and new ways of working.
A key takeaway from the program was that greater AI capability does not reduce the importance of human judgment. Participants explored why critical thinking, domain expertise, and the ability to ask the right questions remain essential when evaluating AI-generated recommendations and determining how technology should be applied.
