16 July 2026

Professor Ian Fenwick, Director of Sasin, has been appointed as one of three new members of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD Global) Board of Trustees, a role ratified at the 2026 General Assembly. The Board of Trustees plays a central role in guiding EFMD Global’s strategic direction and supporting its mission to advance management development worldwide. The new appointments further strengthen the Board’s international composition and bring extensive experience in management education, accreditation, and institutional leadership.
“As a member of the EFMD Board of Trustees, I look forward to supporting innovation and international collaboration in management education, while reinforcing the relevance and global connectedness of business schools,” said Professor Fenwick. He has previously supported EFMD as an EFMD Asia Advisory Board Member, EQUIS Peer Reviewer, and Lead Expert for BSIS Assessment Teams.
Professor Fenwick’s priorities as a Trustee include strengthening international collaboration and institutional quality, and advancing strategic dialogue on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, lifelong learning, and the evolving expectations of learners. He also emphasizes the importance of ensuring that accreditation and institutional development continue to support schools across diverse regional contexts.
