On May 16, 2025, Professor Takamasa Fujioka—Sasin professor and advisor to the Sasin Japan Center and Sasin Management Consulting—took the stage for a dynamic public dialogue at a networking event co-hosted by the Japan Southeast Asia Innovation Platform (JSIP), a Singapore-based startup support organization, and Studist Co., Ltd. Moderated by a well-known economic journalist, the session featured an engaging and insightful discussion. Despite time constraints, Professor Fujioka addressed a wide range of timely topics, including emerging trends in the Thai economy, shifts in the automotive industry, and the continuing impact of Trump-era tariffs.
