The Sasin Connect+ Executive MBA is a flexible hybrid program that blends online learning with face-to-face experiences. The 13-month Connect+ Executive MBA program blends asynchronous (pre-recorded) and synchronous (live) learning. Pre-recorded materials allow participants to engage at their own pace, while live Zoom sessions bring lecturers and classmates together in real time through interactive elements. The online platform also features a discussion forum where students can post comments, exchange ideas, share reflections, and respond to one another’s questions between sessions. There will also be student-led team meetings to work on group assignments.
Optional weekend classes are available, where students can observe the professor’s interactive sessions, join Q&A discussions, and participate in mini workshops. In these workshops, participants are divided into groups, given tasks or assignments, and expected to develop and present a solution within approximately 30 minutes.
The Sasin Connect+ Executive MBA program includes three to four-day international residentials held across Asia, with locations like Chiang Rai, Rayong (Thailand), Bali (Indonesia), Hanoi (Vietnam), and Hangzhou (China). Bringing together classmates from diverse industries and backgrounds, each residential is an intensive, hands-on experience built around collaboration, problem-solving, and idea exchange. Students also have the opportunity to connect with the Sasin community and learn directly from industry leaders, the Sasin alumni, and Sasin’s resident and visiting faculty, leaving with a sharper business perspective and a meaningfully expanded professional network.

It is ideal for those who need the flexibility to balance their studies alongside full-time work and personal commitments.
You are eligible for the program if you have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of post-degree management or professional experience; if you have a Master’s degree, you will only need at least 3 years of work experience.
The Connect+ Executive MBA program offers flexibility for working professionals balancing full-time work and family, or for those who don’t want to be confined to a specific location or fixed timetable. Students can study anytime, anywhere, according to their own schedule. The only mandatory in-person requirement is the international residential, which provides opportunities to experience new cultures and network with classmates, Sasin professors, and alumni.
Students develop leadership capabilities designed to drive meaningful career growth, alongside deep expertise in sustainability, finance, artificial intelligence (AI), and business management. All of this is grounded in Sasin’s guiding vision, “Global Reputation, Regional Expertise,” in which students acquire niche skills and business management knowledge not only in an international context but with a focus on Southeast Asia.
The program covers residential accommodation and meals for all students. Visa and travel expenses, however, are the responsibility of each participant and are not included in the program fees.
Students can exchange contact information during the residential and continue building relationships beyond the program. Sasin provides meeting and recreational spaces where students can meet up, host gatherings, or collaborate on new projects. These activities can be facilitated and supported by the Sasin Alumni Engagement and Facilities department.
Connect+ differs from the in-person Executive MBA in three key ways:
- Eligibility: The in-person Executive MBA requires at least 7 years of post-degree management or professional experience (or 5 years with a Master’s degree, or 3 years with a Ph.D.). Connect+ has different eligibility criteria (see question 4).
- Course modules: All Connect+ courses are held online, with the exception of the 3 residential courses. The curriculum of Connect+ and in-person Executive MBA are different.
- International residential: The in-person Executive MBA program has one international residential, while Connect+ has three preselected residentials. In-person Executive MBA students choose from Sasin’s partner universities outside Thailand, whereas the Connect+ residential location is held within Southeast Asia.
Yes, the Connect+ and in-person Executive MBA programs are fully equivalent — graduates of both receive the same Sasin credential, from a program ranked among the Top 100 EMBAs globally. The Sasin Connect+ program carries the same qualification as Sasin’s Executive MBA program. Upon successful completion, students receive an Executive MBA degree certificate and are invited to attend the Graduation Ceremony at Sasin, celebrating alongside the broader Sasin community.
