Dr. Chaipong’s expertise is in the areas of strategy and operations. He has been using action learning extensively for his teaching for MBA courses and also his executive programs for several companies across industries in Thailand, such as Thaibev, PTT Group, Tesco Lotus, Indorama Ventures, and Siam City Cement, etc. Dr. Chaipong has engaged in numerous consulting services for both public and private organizations, including National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB), Ministry of Commerce, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), PTT Group, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, Sekisui Chemical, SCG Group, etc. Prior to joining Sasin, Dr. Chaipong started his career as a researcher at the University of Cambridge, followed by a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He was a visiting scholar at Kellogg School of Management and a visiting professor at Rikkyo University and Tsukuba University. He received his Ph.D. in Manufacturing and Management from the University of Cambridge, M.Eng. from Kyushu Institute of Technology and B.Eng (1st class honors with gold medal) from Chulalongkorn University.
