The Sasin Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Center is excited to announce our August Fireside chat on Biodiversity Finance! This is a critically important time for biodiversity protection. This year in Lisbon at the United Nations Oceans Conference, the High Ambition Coalition for Nature and People (HAC) announced that 100 countries have now committed to protect at least 30% of the planet’s land and oceans by 2030 – known as “30×30.” This goal will not be achieved without private sector engagement. To see how business can align on biodiversity protection goals, will be welcoming Vivi Siriporn, Thailand’s focal point of the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (CEC) and Niran Niranoot, Country Project Manager, Biodiversity Finance Initiative-BIOFIN for Thailand, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
