Sasin MBA and Executive MBA Class of 2026 Begin Their Journey
08 June 2026

The Sasin MBA and Executive MBA Class of 2026 officially began their learning journey with Orientation Day and a Residential Bootcamp in Khao Yai, marking the start of a transformative year of learning, leadership development, and lifelong connections.
Orientation Day welcomed the newest cohort to the Sasin community. Professor Ian Fenwick, Director of Sasin School of Management, together with the leadership team, introduced students to the academic foundation, learning experience, and collaborative environment that will support them throughout their studies. The event also provided opportunities for students to connect with alumni, faculty members, class representatives, and fellow classmates, laying the groundwork for a strong and supportive network.
The journey continued with a Residential Bootcamp in Khao Yai, where MBA and Executive MBA students came together for immersive learning, collaboration, and community building. Through future-focused workshops, team activities, and foundational academic sessions, students strengthened their readiness for the year ahead while building relationships across the Class of 2026 and with students from the Class of 2025.
A key highlight of the bootcamp was an inspiring session with Namnueng Eamcharoenying (Sasin MBA 2014), Chief Operating Officer of The Chocolate Factory. Sharing her journey from Sasin student to entrepreneur and business leader, she discussed the company’s growth strategy and offered practical advice on making the most of the Sasin experience. The session concluded with an opportunity for students to connect and strengthen friendships in an informal setting.
Students also visited GranMonte Vineyard and Winery, one of Thailand’s leading family-owned wine businesses. During the site visit, they explored the company’s approach to entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation while learning from founders Visooth Lohitnavy (Sasin Executive MBA 1984) and Mimi Lohitnavy (Sasin Executive MBA 2018). The experience provided valuable insights into family business leadership and long-term value creation.
The bootcamp concluded with future-focused learning sessions led by Sasin faculty members Dr. Pinnaree Tea-Makorn, Dr. Nghi Truong, and Dr. Harry Jay Cavite. Through discussions and interactive activities, students explored emerging trends and business opportunities in areas including artificial intelligence, AgriTech, ESG, and sustainability in Southeast Asia.
As the Class of 2026 embarks on this new chapter, the Orientation and Residential Bootcamp provided a strong foundation for the year ahead—one defined by academic excellence, meaningful connections, and the development of future-ready leaders.
