A delegation of executives from the Bhutan Development Bank (BDB), including CEO Phub Dorji, visited Sasin School of Management recently to discuss potential partnerships and areas of collaboration. The bank executives met with Interim Deputy Director Dr. Ian Fenwick, Head of International Affairs & Accreditation, Dr. Adith Cheosakul, Head of Admissions & Student Affairs, Siratas Keshagupta, and Head of Marketing & Communications, Dean Outerson. Established by Royal Charter in 1988, the Bhutan Development Bank is the only bank in Bhutan that focuses on rural farmers and has responsibility for the nation-wide credit program, which mainly provides seasonal, small and medium-term loans to the country’s small farmers.
