Sasin and HSE GSB Establish Strategic Academic Partnership

On October 29, 2025, Professor Ian Fenwick, Director of Sasin School of Management, and Professor Valery Katkalo, Director of HSE Graduate School of Business (HSE GSB), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Research and Educational Programs between Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, executed by Sasin School of Management, and the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russia. The signing took place during the Asia-Pacific Responsible Research Summit hosted by Sasin, in the presence of His Excellency Evgeny Tomikhin, Ambassador of Russia to Thailand. Professor Ian Fenwick remarked, “Today’s partnership between Sasin School of Management and HSE Graduate School of Business represents more than an institutional agreement—it creates a strategic corridor of knowledge exchange spanning Southeast Asia to Eastern Europe, connecting two regions that are fundamentally reshaping the global economic landscape.” He added, “Our students will gain invaluable exposure to diverse market contexts, from ASEAN’s to the vast potential of the Eurasian region.” The MoU aims to strengthen research collaboration and academic programs in business management education, facilitate student and faculty exchanges for joint research and professional development, and organize learning missions for Russian and Thai business leaders to promote bilateral economic and business relations.
