Sasin Team Wins First Place in the Graduate League at the 2026 Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition
Burlington, Vermont, USA — Sasin School of Management has secured First Place in the Graduate League at the 2026 Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (SG-FECC), reaffirming its excellence in family enterprise education on the global stage. Hosted by the University of Vermont (UVM) Grossman School of Business, SG-FECC is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious family business case competitions in the world and is often referred to as the “World Cup of Family Business.” Now in its 13th edition, the competition brought together 21 teams, 132 coaches and competitors, from 11 countries across four continents. Representing Sasin School of Management were Pascal Gallina, Patriya Piyawiroj, Ornrumpa Amornkasemwong, and Palin Sunthonchai (Sasin MBA 2025). Under the guidance of their coach, Tanachote Vongsurbchart (Sasin MBA 2015), the team demonstrated exceptional teamwork, analytical rigor, and leadership throughout the competition. Throughout four highly competitive rounds, the Sasin team delivered an outstanding performance, ranking first in every single round. Advancing confidently to the finals, the team impressed the judges with its strategic insight, business acumen, and polished presentation skills, ultimately securing first place against top family business programs from around the world. A special congratulations goes to Palin Sunthonchai, who was awarded Best Presenter in the Graduate League Finals. Sasin’s second world championship within a two-year period highlights the caliber and global competitiveness of Sasin students, reinforcing the school’s commitment to developing future-ready leaders for family enterprises worldwide.
