The event explored emerging strategies to enhance Thailand’s logistics sector, with comparative insights from Thai and Japanese practices. Leading logistics experts, consultants, and industry practitioners joined the discussion on transforming logistics operations in both countries.
The seminar opened with remarks from Dr. Nares Damrongchai, Director General of TPA, followed by a keynote from Professor Takamasa Fujioka, Advisor to SJC and Professor at Meiji Business School, who shared a management-focused overview of Thailand’s logistics landscape.
Professor Kazuho Yoshimoto, Professor Emeritus of Waseda University, delivered a special lecture introducing productivity-enhancement frameworks such as the Physical Internet, Industrial Engineering (IE), Value Engineering (VE), and ABC analysis.
A case study was then presented by Mr. Atichai Suwannapeng (Sasin MBA 2021), Director of Asia Modern Pak Co., Ltd., showcasing the success of a Thai logistics operator.
