The Sasin School of Management invites you to the Family Enterprise Case Competition – Asia Pacific 2025 (FECC-AP), Asia’s leading case competition focused on the unique challenges and opportunities within family-run businesses. Our mission is to empower the next generation of leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset to develop resilient solutions for family enterprises, fostering generational success and a thriving Asia Pacific family business ecosystem. This intensive, three-day competition provides a platform for graduate students to showcase their business insights and presentation skills by tackling real-world dilemmas faced by family firms today.

The champion of Sasin FECC-AP will earn an automatic berth to compete at the prestigious Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (SG-FECC) in the USA in January 2026. This incredible opportunity includes full sponsorship from Sasin for flights and accommodation (up to THB 250,000), giving your team a platform to shine on the world stage.

Competition Dates: August 14-16, 2025 Location: Sasin School of Management, Bangkok, Thailand. Format: The competition unfolds over three distinct rounds designed to test your team’s analytical abilities comprehensively.
  • Round 1: Pre-Arrival Case: Teams receive a case approximately one week prior to research and prepare their analysis in advance.
  • Round 2: Controlled Timed Case: This round challenges teams with a new case and a five-hour preparation window without internet access, testing rapid analytical skills.
  • Round 3: Championship Finals: The top-performing teams from each division will tackle one last case to determine the Sasin FECC-AP 2025 champion.
Team Composition:
  • Teams may consist of up to four students.
  • Each team must include at least one graduate or Master’s level student, with the remaining members being undergraduates from the same institution.
  • Every team must be accompanied by at least one coach.

The winner of FECC-AP @ Sasin gets an automatic berth to the acclaimed Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (SG-FECC) in the USA (January 2026) and full sponsorship for flights & accommodation up to THB 250,000 from Sasin. Kindly send us the details of participants (both students and the faculty advisor) by July 15, 2025 to ensure smooth registration and preparation. Registration Details:
  • Registration fee is US $300 per person, including the faculty advisor. This includes some meals, laptop rental and other facility services during the competition dates.
