The Sasin School of Management invites you to the Family Enterprise Case Competition – Asia Pacific 2026 (FECC-AP), Asia’s leading case competition focused on the unique challenges and opportunities within family-run businesses. This intensive, multi-round competition provides a platform for students to showcase their business insights and presentation skills by tackling real-world dilemmas faced by family firms today.

Competition Dates: August 13-15, 2026 Location: Sasin School of Management, Bangkok, Thailand.
Important Timeline:
  • Arrival: Teams are expected to arrive on August 12, 2026
  • Departure: August 16, 2026 onward
Competition Structure:
The competition unfolds over intensive rounds designed to test your team’s analytical abilities comprehensively:
  1. Two Rounds of Intensive Case Analysis and presentations.
  2. The Final Round to determine the grand champion.
Team Composition:
  • Each team comprises up to four (4) students.
  • Must include at least one (1) graduate or Master’s level student, with the option for the remaining members to be undergraduates.
  • Each team must be accompanied by at least one (1) coach (maximum of 2) representing their academic institution.

The winner of FECC-AP @ Sasin gets an automatic berth to the acclaimed Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (SG-FECC) in the USA (January 2027) and full sponsorship for flights & accommodation up to THB 250,000 from Sasin. Accommodation & Meals
  • Accommodation responsibilities belong to the team. (Holiday Inn Express Bangkok and ibis Bangkok Siam Hotel are recommended with a Sasin corporate rate available upon request).
  • Lunch will be provided during the competition dates (August 13-15, 2026).
  • Welcome and closing dinners will be provided complimentary.
Registration Details
  • Registration Fee: THB 10,000 per person (applies to team members, faculty advisors, observers, and guests). This fee covers facilities and specified meals during the competition.
