You are cordially invited to join Sasin Research Seminar.
Appropriate Innovation for Asian Emerging Markets in a Digital World
By George Abonyi, Ph.D., Sasin’s Senior Research Fellow and Visiting Faculty Friday April 16, 2021, 12:00 -13:00 pm. Abstract: Thailand, as many other countries, is targeting high-value innovation at the technology frontier, particularly for exports, with special emphasis on Asian emerging markets. Advanced innovation is important for strengthening productivity and international competitiveness. However, it is not within reach of most firms, especially small- and medium-scale enterprises (SME). Furthermore, advanced technology products and services are neither essential, nor often appropriate to the actual needs and constraints of most Asian emerging market consumers. Venue: The seminar will be online via Zoom. Please RSVP by Thursday April 15, 2021 to receive a Zoom link.
