The New Sasin MiM Program: Where Careers Begin

Sasin MiM is a taster a career starter a way to make sure you start out on the right path and hit that path running

The reality for most recent graduates is that the companies they want to work for require experience, but few businesses are willing to invest in training someone who’s just starting their career. The Sasin Master of Science in Management (MiM) offers a different path from the Sasin MBA, one that is equally rigorous and internationally recognized, but designed for where ambitious graduates are right now. The MiM goal is straightforward: to equip students with the skills and confidence to hit the ground running from day one.
An Investment in Your Future Career Path
The Sasin MBA ranks among the Financial Times’ top 100 programs globally and is the only business program in Thailand to achieve that recognition. While prospective students want to get into the program, the MBA requires at least one year or more than three years of professional experience. The Sasin MiM removes that barrier entirely, requiring only a bachelor’s degree completed within the past 12 months. As Professor Ian Fenwick, Director of Sasin, said: “It’s a chance to try out different ideas, to experience a real internship that will give you a taste of a career, gain the management fundamentals on which you can build your future, and experience an international immersion.”
Career Opportunities Across Industries
According to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), MiM graduates have gone on to build careers across consulting, finance, and technology, and the Sasin MiM is designed with exactly those pathways in mind. Building on this foundation, students can explore several key industry tracks offered through the program. Consulting & Project Management: Through courses such as Foundations for Financial Analysis and Fundamentals for Project Management, students build the analytical and leadership skills needed to pursue roles as consultants, project consultants, and strategy consultants. Finance: With Sasin Faculty’s expertise in finance, students can gain a foothold in competitive fields such as corporate finance, investment banking, and financial analysis, supported by a curriculum that bridges theory and real-world application. Sustainability & ESG: A strong foundation in Environmental, Social, and Governance Regulation and Compliance prepares students to pursue careers in sustainability, including working as an ESG Specialist, Sustainability Manager, and Sustainability and Energy Consultant. Technology & AI: Sasin MiM elective courses such as Machine Learning for Data Analysis, Financial Technology, and Data Analytics open doors to careers in digital strategy, marketing, and business development. AI-specific roles include AI Data Analyst, AI Product Manager, Digital Strategy Consultant, Machine Learning Product Manager, and Growth Data Analyst. Entrepreneurship: The Sasin MiM equips you with an entrepreneurial mindset woven throughout the curriculum. As a MiM student, you can compete in the Bangkok Business Challenge, Sasin’s flagship global startup competition, where student teams pitch real business plans to panels of industry experts and investors from around the world. Whether you compete or join as a spectator, it’s a front-row seat to how ventures are built and evaluated. By the time you graduate, you’ll have the network, the mindset, and the real-world exposure to take the first step.
Career Lab
According to The Economist, corporations are increasingly drawn to MiM graduates because they are adaptable and open-minded and have not yet developed fixed habits or rigid thinking from years in a single workplace. Fresh graduates are easier to develop and shape into future leaders. With that foresight, Sasin’s MiM includes the Career Lab, a credit-bearing internship with Sasin’s partners, including Sansiri, Prudential Thailand, Fast Retailing, ASW Consulting, AWR Lloyd, BeGifted, Forvis Mazars, and LiB Consulting. During the internship, students have a rare opportunity to apply what they have learned and receive corporate feedback on their performance. The Career Lab is based on MIT’s Action Learning philosophy, where students apply what they learn to real business challenges. Students use the knowledge they gain from the Sasin faculty on business fundamentals in class to present solutions to real-world business challenges in organizations.
Beyond Career Outcomes
The Sasin MiM is about more than landing a first job. Students gain hands-on experience through the Career Lab and experience cross-border learning at the International Immersion. “Sasin MiM helps students build strong business foundations, leadership capabilities, global exposure, professional networks, and gain practical experience at an early stage of their careers,” said Associate Professor Dr. Pattarake Sarajoti, Head of Pre-experience Programs at Sasin. “It also supports personal growth, confidence, adaptability, and long-term professional development in a rapidly changing world.” MiM graduates also become full Sasin alumni with access to Sasin’s C-suite alumni network that opens doors to leading global companies. Associate Professor Dr. Piyachart Phiromswad, Deputy Director of Learning Solutions reinforces that vision: “You will have the network strength of the Sasin community, which will help you start strong and build your professional career on a truly rewarding trajectory.” The Sasin Master of Science in Management (MiM) program is scheduled to begin in August 2026.
