Professor Dr. Pattanaporn Honored With the 2026 Thailand Research Fund (TRF) Senior Research Scholar Grant

Professor Dr. Pattanaporn Chatjuthamard, Sasin Faculty Member of Finance and Head of the Sasin Center of Excellence in Management Research for Corporate Governance and Behavioral Finance, was honored with the prestigious 2026 Thailand Research Fund (TRF) Senior Research Scholar Grant by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). Professor Dr. Pattanaporn was one of only two Chulalongkorn University professors to receive the TRF Senior Research Scholar Grant this year, an honor reserved for senior researchers whose contributions have earned national and international distinction through research work that advances knowledge, creates meaningful benefits for the nation and society, while demonstrating the leadership needed to develop future research talent. TRF Senior Research Scholar Grant recipients demonstrate strong research ethics, possess the qualities to lead a research team, and are capable of developing their team and early-career researchers to produce high-quality research on a continuous basis. The research supported under this grant should generate new bodies of knowledge with high academic impact or demonstrate strong potential for practical application that benefits the nation and society. The grant emphasizes building research networks and producing high-quality work that meets international standards and is recognized globally, with the goal of building the country’s long-term intellectual capacity.
